(Digital) Marketing Specialist
Written, LLC is a woman-owned small business creating custom communication solutions to help businesses achieve their goals. We are looking for a creative, data-driven digital marketer to join our team. The Digital Marketing Specialist will report to the Director of Marketing and will be responsible for managing and growing our clients’ digital presence as well as supporting overall marketing campaigns through building digital assets, such as landing pages, and tracking performance through reporting and analysis. This is a self-driven role where expertise in digital marketing is key to building a strong pipeline of inbound leads through digital channels.
In this role, you will:
Support a high performing and cost-effective digital marketing program
Contribute to the development of web content of the various client websites, including written and creative content, including maintaining site organization, metadata, and SEO
Plan and implement digital marketing campaigns to develop audiences, drive engagement, increase sales, and derive audience insights
Create and promote webinars and related registration landing pages
Collaborate with marketing content team to develop and produce content including new webpages, blog posts, and more
Provide weekly, monthly, and quarterly reports and insights into marketing activities and campaigns
Support marketing campaigns across platforms and implement a social media strategy and set goals to increase brand awareness and increase engagement
Conduct interviews and collaborate with others to write engaging blog posts and articles
Create engaging multimedia content such as videos, and/or outsource this effectively
Form relationships with influencers to further social media platforms and gain key media outlet placement
Regularly liaise with clients via telephone, email, conference calls, or face-to-face
The ideal applicant will have:
Hands-on experience and expertise in digital marketing, marketing automation and, B2B marketing tactics
Experience developing supporting content for web and email campaigns
Solid understanding and experience building ads and campaigns in Google Ads
Understanding of how to gain data and insights from Google Analytics and the ability to turn it into actionable steps to improve website performance
Knowledge of SEO and SEM best practices (link building, content strategy, keyword research) and experience using tools such as SEMRush, Crazy Egg, and Ryte
A team-player attitude with the ability to work in a fast-paced, rapidly changing environment
Ability to effectively collaborate with various stakeholders
Exceptional attention to detail with a proven ability to drive projects to completion
Solid knowledge of HTML/CSS to maintain website features and functionality
Strong editing and writing skills
Creative skills for contributing new and innovative ideas
Strong verbal communication skills for articulating ideas to colleagues and clients
Organizational skills, with the capacity to prioritize and work across multiple projects
Schedule
Full-time remote, Monday-Friday, occasional evenings/weekends, some travel required.
Salary
Negotiable. Substantial experience will be considered. Freelance and part-time considered.
Qualifications & Experience
Minimum of two years’ experience in digital marketing, media, and communications PR, or advertising with business management preferred.
Bachelor’s degree in psychology, human resources, public relations, marketing, MBA, or a related field – Master’s degree preferred (will consider in-progress)
