Their Goals
Bana Solutions wanted to align performance management and career path planning with their strategic objectives. They wished to identify and define core and functional competencies essential for organizational success, creating a robust foundation for enhancing talent management practices and fostering a culture of continuous growth and development.
Our Approach
Written employed a collaborative and analytical methodology to craft a comprehensive competency framework. Through internal documentation review, 16 in-depth interviews with 33 employees, and focus groups, we engaged stakeholders across departments. Consultations with key leaders provided critical insights, enabling us to identify five core competencies and three functional competencies. Behavioral indicators were developed to illustrate observable behaviors associated with each competency, ensuring practical applications for performance evaluation and talent development.
Results
The resulting competency framework includes tailored core and functional competencies that align with Bana Solutions’ strategic needs. Spanning four career pathways and six levels, the model offers a structured approach to guiding talent management and performance evaluation. While some behavioral indicators required extrapolation due to data limitations, the framework remains a valuable tool, adaptable as Bana Solutions grows and hires across all levels. This initiative has positioned the organization to make informed decisions, enhance performance, and support continuous development.
